GREENLAND

Cold Blue Kalaallit Nunaat.

Massive quantities of ice calves from the icecap of Greenland in to the fjord coastal landscape. The everchanging giants of ice will give the spectator a new landscape each day of frozen ice-shapes and light.

Johan’s photography of Greenland impressively captures the transient silent beauty of the icebergs in the Ilulissat ice fjord. His images show the eerily beautiful, unique, and variety of textured ice formations that are the remains of large floes formed by currents, wind, and time into magnificent ethereal structures.
Johan has captured and presented these scenes of a fragile world in a breathtaking manner.
